A New House

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting one of my recent engineering projects as a finished home.  The design is very modern, and it was constructed using sustainable materials.  I especially loved the exposed ceiling beams and the outside metal siding that rusts over time (no maintenance required!).  Enjoy!

Last weekend I made my second visit to photograph the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland.  The Cathedral is one of the best examples of modern structural design in the Bay Area, and the combination of warm wood and cool glass makes for a very interesting subject.

These next two pictures were taken in downtown oakland.

And these are for Leonel.

San Francisco's South Beach

Two weekends ago, I took some shots around the South Beach area of San Francisco with some other photographer friends of mine.  I was really inspired by the angles and shadows created by the avant garde architecture of the UCSF campus.
